| This instrument features a North American Sitka Spruce top, medium flamed Bosnian Maple back, ribs, and neck, Gaboon Ebony fingerboard, and Rosewood fittings with gold trim. The tailpiece is equipped with 4 fine tuners for loop-ended strings. It is remarkably responsive and open for such a young instrument, as well as rich in overtones. A soloists instrument, this violin has a fine-grained North American Sitka Spruce top, and New England Maple one-piece back with matching ribs and neck. The fingerboard is Gaboon Ebony. Fittings are Rosewood with gold trim. The Pusch tailpiece has four built-in fine tuners. This BLACK WALNUT fiddle has power to spare. Bright, yet still forgiving on double stops, this instrument will send your banjo player shopping for an amplifier. Very responsive, and you might consider an earplug for your left ear. The top is ancient old-growth Sitka Spruce from the Northwest U.S. and is extremely fine-grained. The one-piece back, ribs, and neck are lightly figured American Black Walnut. The neck is reinforced with a carbon fiber rod. The "open-pore" look finish lets the wood shine through.
